The Hudson Valley Group started in the 1980’s just as Hudson Valley Lighting and was founded by David Littman. Passionately looking to expand his brands presence in the lighting industry, David purchased Corbett Lighting and Troy Lighting in the early 2000s. After acquiring Corbett and Troy lighting, the Hudson Valley Group was born, and both Corbett Lighting and Troy Lighting were completely revitalized. Corbett Lighting focusing on more upscale elegant lighting fixtures and Troy Lighting focused on high quality indoor and outdoor lighting. Both companies were a welcome addition to the Hudson Valley Group. Recently, the Hudson Valley Group created Mitzi by HVL which is the last brand associated with the Hudson Valley Group.
