  • Personal Information Categories Listed in the California Customer Records Statute, examples include a name, Tax ID ( required for TradePro program to be tax exempt) , telephone numbers, employment, address, credit card and debit cards (we do not store any credit or debit card information, all payments are ran through authorize.net who encrypts all of your card data). Some personal information included in this category may overlap in other categories.
  • Protected Classification Characteristics Under California or Federal Law. The only characteristic under this category which we collect is any military status or veteran information so we can properly provide discounts to our veterans and active duty service members. We have not collected any data related to this category including medical conditions, religion, citizenship, ancestry, race, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender expression or other similar information. We do not plan on collecting this data.

Personal information does not include:

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • De-identified or aggregated consumer information.
  • Information excluded from the CCPA’s scope, like:
  • health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) or clinical trial data;
  • personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994.

  • Cookies are specifically used to associate the different usages of Beautiful Things Lightings website to your account. For example if you add an item to your cart, you can exit out of the page, then come back to the page and the item will still be in your cart. This makes it so if you accidentally lose connection to our site, your shopping progress is saved. You can opt out of these cookies. The steps will be provided in the “Opt-in/Opt-out” section!

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION:

We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose [or sell your personal information, subject to your right to opt-out of those sales (see Personal Information Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights)]. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable.
